Purpose of the challenge:
Assess the contestant’s ability in critical thinking, creative design, pattern making, and sewing construction in the field of apparel design.
Tasks to be performed:
- Competitors will be creating an outfit
- Technical drawings must be completed by hand
- Candidates will create a pattern based on project provided.
- Industry sewing standards for garment construction to be maintained as equipment allows.
