YUKON WINS BIG AT NATIONALS!!!

Team Yukon had an amazing medal showing at the recent National Skills Competition in Calgary - 5 medals! Our best showing yet and as a bonus, one of our medalists is off to the WORLD SKILLS COMPETITION in 2009!

• David Gonda - Bronze medal - Post secondary Sheet Metal
• Chris Dunbar - Bronze Medal - Post secondary Heavy Duty Mechanics
• Jeff Brewster - Silver Medal - Post Secondary Autobody Painting
• Michael Settle - Silver Medal - Post Secondary Electrical Wiring
• Karl Loos - Silver Medal - Post Secondary CNC Maching

Karl Loos was selected as well to represent Team Canada at the World Skills Competition next year in Calgary, Alberta for CNC Machining!! An amazing accomplishment!

Skills Canada Yukon is extremely proud of our ENTIRE TEAM for a job well done. Way to go, everyone - way to represent the Yukon!!!
